“Bring Your Own Gun Fund Raiser” That’s one way of saying it. Another way is to say, remember 10 – 10 at 10. That is, let’s meet on October 10 at 10:00 a.m. Where? Dorchester Hunting Preserve.
More information will be forthcoming about this unique fund raising event. One of the salient factors is that it will feature two very different kinds of non profits. Priority Insight, a leadership development ministry focused on challenging and equipping leaders through workplace bible studies, monthly forums, and peer coaching groups to honor God through their everyday lives is partnering with Old Savannah City Mission, Savannah’s Five Star Gospel Rescue Mission to bring diverse populations together so as to continue ministries to strikingly diverse populations. These two ministries span the divide socially with the same good news. Both ministries are facing strong funding challenges. Friends have encouraged John Crosby of Priority Insight and Jim Lewis of Old Savannah City Mission to join forces and present a fundraiser which with touch a special place in the heart of many men. The sport shooting event is scheduled for October 10, 2008. Activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided for all registered participants. Shooting will continue throughout the day so as to accommodate diverse schedules.
Sponsorships at the Gold Level are $1,000.
Station sponsorships are $500.
Registration for teams of four is $400.
All proceeds will be dividedly equally between Priority Insight and Old Savannah City Mission.
