Mission Thrift Shop
The Thrift Shop is named in honor of two outstanding women in the Bible. Dorcas was a seamstress, a woman full of good works and did many charitable deeds for the poor and who Peter restored to life. Esther was a beautiful Jewish woman. After the loss of her parents she found protection and purpose under her Uncle Mordecai’s care. In time, God brought her into a special role to deliver her people as Queen Esther of the Persian Empire.
Dorcas and Esther’s is a blended Thrift Shop that fulfills the needs of the “least of those” among us, while also providing upper end clothing “fit for a Queen”. We invite you to stop by and shop at our 2414 Bull Street Annex and experience a new way of shopping. Every purchase will make a difference in the lives of the hungry and hurting in our community. We also welcome any donations of clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes, collectibles, household items, as well as home and office furnishings. Thank you for your support!
